Cartier 14K Gold Compass – Vintage Cartier Time Object
A rare and highly unusual vintage Cartier compass, crafted in 14K yellow gold and designed in the form of a nautical ship’s wheel.
The compass retains its original Cartier chain and is particularly interesting for its Cartier inventory numbers engraved to the case, providing an important indication of its Cartier provenance.
The compass itself is currently not functioning and is sold as a non-working piece, making this primarily a collector’s item and an exceptional example of Cartier’s early objets and functional jewellery.
